Just picked up a bordeaux black platinum-few questions

Hi guys. Wasn't my choice but my wife likes big comfy cars. Which I guess is good because otherwise I would have nothing but sports cars and be miserable every time we drove more then an hour. So I guess it's good she didn't get the golf r. :P

For the heck of it we stopped by the Kia dealership this weekend. She has always wanted to trade up for the Optima SXL. It's a fine car but I wanted her to see what else was available(ie convince her to get the golf r). But she really liked the Maxima. So in the end it was going to be the Optima SXL or the Maxima. I would have loved to get the SR with the black wheels but we realized it doesn't have memory for the seats. I am 1ft taller then her so any car we share has to have seat memory. So we got went for the platinum instead.

Finding one in bordeaux black proved to be a real challenge. As luck would have it a dealership in Dallas had 2. So we drove 2 1/2 hours to get it.

Took a few photos after I cleaned it up and waxed it. They didn't do the greatest job washing it before we picked it up.

I have 2 questions.

First is there anyway to order the black wheels? The dealership didn't seem to helpful with this.

Second, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to program the homelink button on the mirror. Does anyone have instructions on how this is done?

Thanks in advance

The SR rims from the Midnight Package? Yes, a dealership should be able to order them for you. I was told they are about $350 a piece

Good choice on going with the Max. I had a 2013 Optima SXL prior to my Max, and honestly there is no comparison. With that said, the 16 Optima could be better than the 13. I didn't even consider another one.

Instructions are in manual. I remember it being frustrating, took several tries. I think it has something to do with the way the newer openers rotate codes.

Homelink is on page 2-61. I was able to program my rolling code garage door with the Homelink. Pretty simple.

I cross-shopped the '16 SX-L before I ended up with the Maxima. I was super surprised with how good the Optima was -- great steering and suspension, wonderful leather on the seats, good infotainment system - with CarPlay and Android Auto as well. Ultimately, though, the control feel and engine response won me over to the Maxima, as well as a great lease deal on a Platinum.

Maxima interior is way better. Warranty sucks though. And yes no car play or android auto. But really how often am I going to use it I figured.
