Tips, Tricks, and hidden features!
Here's a Tip
Don't try to hang clothes hangers inside the rear windows like on every other car we've driven. I found out there are no hooks installed. I had to hang my dress shirt, tie, slacks, sportcoat from the grab-handle and watched them slide around. Why would the designers leave off something as inexpensive and useful as this?!!!
When you use the left-right arrow keys on the left spoke of the wheel to switch between the center cluster dash settings, there is a "settings" option that shows up (the gear icon at the bottom when switching). You can change the car color settings there.
Good deal, thanks bud!
Auto tilt rear view mirrors
Here's something I just discovered that I originally thought was a defect. My rear view mirrors suddenly stopped tilting down when I put the car into reverse. It turns out that you must have the adjustment switch set to one of the left or right (not in the center "neutral") position for this feature to work - at least on my 2018 Platinum. Had anyone else noticed this?

Reverse tilt-down feature (if so equipped)
The reverse tilt-down feature will turn both outside mirror surfaces downward to provide better rear visibility close to the vehicle when the mirror control switch is in either the L or R position. The mirrors automatically return to their original position when you shift out of Reverse.
The outside mirror surfaces will return to their original position when one of the following has occurred:
∙ The shift lever is moved to any position other than R.
∙ The outside mirror control switch is set to the neutral or center position.
∙ The ignition switch is placed in the OFF position.

Yes I noticed this because I read the owner's manual page 3-30 Pre-driving checks and adjustments.

I appreciate you wading through the manual to sort this out. I know, if one studies the manual, there is lots to be learned but many folks have to get it through seeing and doing. For me I try to do what is it is I need in the car, then reading the book to fine tune. It does always reconfirm how greatly these cars are equipped, especially the Platinums
No.
If it's anything like the Leaf, it actually requires a different HVAC part:

Our maximasa beep when filling tires for proper air pressure
- Park your vehicle, put the vehicle in park and apply the parking brake.
- Leave the ignition in the on position (accessory mode) with the engine off.
- Begin filling the tires with air.
- The exterior lights of the Nissan will flash to indicate the Easy-Fill Tire Alert system is operating.
- The vehicle horn will sound to indicate the tires are at the correct pressure.
- If they tire becomes over-inflated, the horn will sound again and the hazard indicators will flash.

it only changes the outside temp, NOT the HVAC.
Go ahead and try and post a photo.
