Fake "chrome" starting to wear off

The fake "chrome" on one of the two toggle type switches on the steering wheel is starting to come off on my 2017 SL. Has anyone else experienced this and has the dealer replaced it under warranty? Is this easy to replace and do I want them messing with the steering wheel?

Had mine replaced just this week, covered under warranty. If you don't want the dealer to "mess' with the steering wheel, learn to live with the peeling chrome.

Noticed this on power window buttons on a used 2017 I test drove at a dealership. You'd think they'd make something that's more durable.

yep, I already posted about window buttons. My passengers toggle went bad back in June now I’m feeling mine going bad.

I think the repair is straightforward. Should be able to do this without removing the Steering Wheel
