Hi guys, I have a 2017 SR midnight and my blind spot monitors do not turn on anymore. I am not sure when it stopped working, I just noticed it recently during a long drive. I have the blind spot monitoring turned on and the car gives me no warnings of obstructions of anything. I have included pictures below. One thing I did notice are the lines on the screen are orange now which I think they were white before. Has anyone encountered this problem before or know what is going on? Thank you for the help!

 

I hope you still have a warranty as it appears you may have a module that has failed. Sometimes resetting the car by disconnecting the battery might jolt the unit into working. I don't think this is a common failure. Get to a dealer and report back what you learn. This safety feature is the best thing since sliced bread!

 

I don't have the car with me but my dad told me he just fixed it. He said he opened up the panel and the wire which goes to the blind spot indicator was literally disconnected...lol. I'm just glad it was something that simple . Thanks for the reply!

 

What a talented dad! Did he open the instrument panel?

 

No I think he just opened the panel that covers the blind spot light on the side of the door and reconnected the wire to the light.
