Bluetooth Connection Issues
2018 Maxima, Bluetooth worked just fine until today. Will not connect any phone. Also, while trouble shooting, will not delete previously connected devices. Within the screen it says it's deleted but it still shows up. Nothing has worked to try and reconnect my phone to Bluetooth.

Try resetting infotainment unit
If you have the infotainment center, this is what I have to do about once a week.
With the audio off press and hold the menu button (not the screen one, the physical one) the turn the volume **** up and down 4 or more times rapidly. You'll see the unit enables a diagnostic mode. You need only select the return arrow on the screen and the infotainment center will turn off. After 20 or 30 seconds it'll restart and your Bluetooth should be back to normal.
hope the works for you, good luck

Why not contact NissanConnect Support? I've used them and thought they were great. https://www.nissanusa.com/connect/support

I have this happen from time to time where it won't connect my to my phone. It only happens when I use the remote start feature and let it warm up. It probably has something to do with the phone dropping in and out of range. Anyway, it usually returns to normal if I leave the car shut off for 15 minutes or so, then start it back up. If this doesn't work, I've had success by pairing a second new device, then deleting the first device and re-pair.

Bluetooth Connection Failed
Any updates? I have a 2017 platinum. I noticed it giving me the "Bluetooth connection failed" message when I would remote start the car then walk out of range. I thought I fixed it by leaving the phone near the car when I remote started. Now I'm getting the issue to the point that I haven't been able to use Bluetooth for days. I deleted my phone yesterday and reconnected, worked fine. This morning it went back to not working. Even after I deleted phone and reconnected...
I had a 2016 SL (was totaled thanks to some idiot kid falling asleep at the wheel) and it never had any of these issues.

Howdy! I just got a 2021 Maxima platinum. My phone, a Pixel 7, connects just fine for calls and texts. When I click "Bluetooth" for audio, my phone does not show up. I checked to make sure music was enabled in the Maxima connection, I'm at a loss as to what I'm doing wrong.
