Is there a software update to get the reverse mirror tilt feature on the SR? SR owners we don’t have the Platinums 360 camera or bird eyes view so it would make sense to give us the tilt feature at least. Not a big deal but my old 2007 Volvo S80 v8 had the feature and it is really useful.

Is the hardware already installed on the car to support the software update?

This question is logical as anyone would want these features. It seems doubtfull it would be cost affective if the car requires a new body computer to support what you want. Dare say you should go thru a local dealer and ask them to run the question up to zone and Nissan engineering to get the answer. Others have said just getting a salvage part and plugging it in is not enough. Good luck and please report back on what you learn.

I am not aware of ANY software updates Nissan performs for the Maxima other than the NAV maps
