Any performance mods?
So I saw this used 2018 Maxima SR Midnight editon with only 16,000 miles at my dealership I work at. I really love the way they drive, look, and handle. If I were to get it, are there any performance mods I can get to bump up the power? I've seen CAI and Exhaust but not anything else really. I have a dyno tuner near me that can work on the tune, I just need the parts to make it a really fun car. Any help would be appreciated.

If you have a deep wallet, anything is possible. Hell if you are a billionaire I am sure you can make a maxima set a new land speed record. However I suspect you are not(no offense) so theres not much you can do.
This has come up many times, Heres a suggestion, try googling it and if its hard to find information than thats probably because its hard to do.
There are some mods but all in all I remember someone once saying in a similar post you bought the wrong car..... however you haven't bought it yet so..... You are planning on buying the wrong car if you want to mod it.
However get the damn car, Currently the Max is my favorite car I have owned. My second favorite car was my 96 lincoln mark 8, now there was a car that you can mod... had the same 4.6 as the mustang cobra and room to work on the damn car...Had lots of work on that, headers, 4:10 gears and so many other items..\..

It’s a really fun car. Not perfect but fun. What more are you looking for?
Me... all I crave are more brakes, and a brake pedal that doesn’t give me leg cramps in stop-and-go traffic.
BTW, I seem to only buy cars and motorcycles and later find out that they are the NOT ones to mod. If modding vehicles, I’d see what mods are out there and buy the car that the mods fit rather than buying the car first.

I'll say what I always say when I see this topic come up.
First, no there's probably not much you can do to the conventional power train,
Second, why does no one ever talk about adding auxiliary power using electric motors on the rear wheels? I think it would be an awesome way to get some killer off-the-line torque. Heck, the motors don't even have to move the car that much... they can just reduce the power needed by the primary engine. Perhaps there's some nerdy technical reason why not but it would be fun to see someone try it with the Max.
