2016 sr vibration and tire recommendation
so i been having a vibration in the car at high speeds mostly on the steering wheel, but can slightly feel it in the front seat and gas pedal, took it in to my selling dealer, they used all of my gas that was in the tank and put almost a 100 miles on the car and guess what?? they couldn't replicate the issue, which i though was weird, but i wanted to get a second opinion, took it to another Nissan dealer nearby and guess what??? it didn't even took them 2 miles and they duplicate it the issue and said a rim is bent, this is nonsense!!
Called my selling dealer because I'm so frustrated, they are fixing the bent rim even though i wanted it replaced as a brand new rim, again i will have to leave my car in the shop after leaving it for almost a week due to the CVT jerking, im not so convinced it is the bent rim but also the tires because they are wear out on the edges but not so much in the middle, which was another thread going on in this forum. I will also replace the tires out of my own pocket and i need to have some recommendations,
If you have an SR, what tires are you using or did you replace the OEM goodyear with ?

No, this is not nonsense. If your tires are properly rotated and balanced, and you still get vibration at high speeds, one or more of your rims could very well be bent. I learned this the hard way with my 2005 Maxima, several years ago.

I bought my 2016 SR in November 2018 and I did experience some vibrations in the steering wheel when going 75 mph. I didn't think much of it. I thought it was due to the major highway's road condition being terrible. Anyway, after a rotation, balance, and installing the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+, the vibration has gone away.
