Light clanging/rattle metallic noise in the drive train
My 2019 Platinum now has 4200 miles on it and has been a great car though not perfect. Recently a noise has started occurring at lower speeds say around 20 to 42 mph at very low rpms (1000-1200) when the car's CVT loads the engine and you lightly press the gas pedal for more power. The noise sounds alot like a loose exhaust heat shield. Kind of a tinny noise that subsides once the power and rpms climb.
Getting ready for my 1st service and I want to get on record for this noise. We checked the heat shields and the belt idler pulley and they seem OK. Ironically my 2016 Platinum also made this noise but much later ar 39000 miles. Since my lease was up and it was an intermittant thing I did not act on it.
Wondering if any of you have heard this noise and found a solution?
Also recorded a new high MPG for steady cruising on the interstate at 37.2 for 74 miles.

I've had something like this noise since about 20,000 miles on my 2017 S. Took it to the dealer three times and each time got "I don't hear anything, I don't hear anything." I've learned to live with it for now, as it hasn't been getting any worse (I'm currently at 38,000). I've had the car paid off for a long time, just waiting for the right moment to get out of it.
As one poster said a while ago, these are basically throwaway cars, meant for leasing. My girlfriend's 10 year old F-150 has no squeaks and no mystery drivetrain noises.
