2017 Navigation issues

Angry 2017 Navigation issues

We have a 2017 Maxima and since yesterday the navigation screen is not working. The audio selections are available and the main menu is available but none of the other functionality is available anymore. Navigation is not selectable at all. No recent updates have been done on the system. It happened in the middle of driving - the system seemed to do a hard restart - display went black and restart Nissan logo came up, and when it came back up the navigation was no longer available etc. This has not changed since turning the car off/on at least 5 times since then.

Has anyone else experienced this and resolved it?

Turn the car off. Open the fuse box to the left of the steering wheel. In the middle, there should be a white big plastic square. It's the shipping and storage mode switch. Pull on it gently and it should pull out a couple millimeters. Wait a few seconds, then push it back in vigorously. Turn the car on and hopefully your problem is solved.
