I think only the dealer can help you on this one. Discuss the matter with them. Be polite but firm.

This was exactly the issue I was coming to discuss on here. I just replaced my 2016 head unit with a 2018 head unit so I could get Android Auto functionality. Everything except the backup camera works. Let me know if you hear anything and I will do the same.

This is simple. Go back to the dealer and have them figure it out. Sounds like a handshake/programming issue between the camera and the head unit.

Follow the Wizard's advice here. My 2016 Platinum also did this and was fixed at the dealer though it took 2 trips for a lasting fix.

Took it to the dealer to get it re-synced (2018 head unit does not recognize 2016 camera) - Does anyone have any experience upgrading their 2016 head unit to a 2018 or newer? Any problems with the rear backup camera? Will a replacement newer camera do the trick?
