Fixed my front radar sensor issue!

Ever since I bought my car last summer it has had an intermittent issue with the cruise control randomly disabling while on the highway. I kept getting the infamous "“Front radar unavailable due to obstruction" message. This is appears to be a somewhat common issue from the research I've done, usually caused by a faulty or misaligned sensor. Anyway, a few weeks ago I pulled the front bumper off to replace the grill and decided to take a close look at the sensor while it was off. I noticed that there is a pin on each side of it that fits into 2 notches on the plastic housing mounted to the frame. One of the pins was slightly off and not sitting in the notch. I pushed it back into place and haven't had an issue since! So glad it was an easy fix. Pulling the bumper off was a piece of cake so I highly recommend that anyone else who has this issue check out the alignment of that sensor before you take it into the dealer.

Wel done Jrod! Obviously not installed correctly from the factory. Thanks for reporting back. How long did it take to pull the bumper cover? Any tips?
