Rear deck vibration/rattle with bass heavy music

I have a 2016 maxima platinum and with bass heavy music I hear a lot of vibration coming from the rear deck. My bass is set to +1 away from the maximum but in my 2007 maxima the bass was set to the max and I still never heard any vibration. Is this happening to anyone else?

I have the same issue in my 2018 Platinum. It’s very annoying . My rear sunshade also makes a lot of noise too. I’m hoping they can fix it when I bring it in next.

If the volume of your sound system is causing your car to fall apart, perhaps you should consider turning it down.

It does not have to be loud to rattle.....

If it were my car, and I just had to have a lot of bass, I would climb back there and start pushing on every freakin' part I could get to. When you get to the culprit isolate the vibration with foam backing, screw tightening, you know...... Also check you speaker mount. Could be speaker frame vibrating on its mounting surface. Other than these suggestions, can't know.

It's the sun shade. Put a couple pieces of foam between the shade and its housing.

Great tip and it worked on my 2019 Platinum. If I was ambitious, I would disassemble that rear shelf area and add some acoustic matting on that whole area. ..On second thought...naw!
