Rear trim coming off

So I went to brush off snow as I do every season since I got the car. This time I noticed the black trim on passenger side is about one clip from coming off. After doing some research it looks like dealer ship will just bump you$400~ to replace it so I need help. Is there any replacement clips, or since kind of tape or glue? Should I go to the dealer first to at least see if they'll do it free? This is a 2017 Nissan maxima SL, about 60000 miles on it.

Double sided tape works wonderfully.

Hey I went to the dealership to see if I can get away with anything free, they brought up the new trim with bigger clips as a fix but they wanted like $450. What kind of tape did you use? I'm going to go the same route

3M auto tape... I feel this is sadly a right of passage for every Maxima owner. You can probably buy the part for significantly less than what the dealership mentioned online. The older part number was # 78873-4RA0A. You may need to call Nissan to find out what the replacement is (unless you want to pickup the older style for < $130)

Right side Pillar Molding Trim

I went through a car wash and it tore off my right side pillar molding trim. Does the tape hold real good or should I just try to order new clips?

In lieu of tape, I squirted a healthy sized dose of appropriate outdoor silicone sealant between the the back of the loose trim and body of the car. Pressed the trim back down and used some blue painters tape to hold the trim in place till the silicone fully dried. Nothing oozed out from beneath the trim.

Has been holding strong for me for 4+ years so far...

Double sided tape works very well. I just use a small amount on the edges.
