I believe its time for the rears to go in and get fixed. sux major azz.
dude that sucks, just send it into ksport and they should take care of it nice and quick
Damn those things are slammed...maybe i want to go lower? hahah
Anyways, i'm having sort of a frustrating problem. No matter what i do, i can not get rid of the creaking and popping noises comming out of the front. It always comes back. I've got no preload, the springs is able to rotate on collar. What do i do to get rid of this annoying sound? If i need to use that lithium grease, where do i put it? Between shock and rubber isolator or between collar, maybe both?

Well guys and gals, time to add me to the list of blown-out coileovers! My drivers side rear is covered in oil. My total accumulated mileage is around 5k since last summer. Not good! Looks like I'll be getting in touch with Jinsu!

The picture below shows me next to both rear coilovers. The coilover on the bottom is from the right side of my car. I've been having noises from that area. I noticed the dark color around the coilover. I did spray silicone lubricant around it, but I don't think it would stick like that. I'm thinking that it is blown. Does that look like a blown shock to you? I do not have any problems with the top coilover.
Would anyone say the eibach coilovers are better than the Ksport for the maximas? Some guy was telling me today that the eibach would probably be more reliable and have just as good of feel if not better than the Ksports. Does eibach even make coilovers for the 4 gen max?

If he suggesting eibach, he was probably suggestion eibach for the softer spring rates. In that case, ksport offer's softer 7/5 springs rates as well. You just have to special order.

The spring rate thing has been covered... lower rates for smoother ride and slightly worse handling (but still FAR better handling than stock), higher rates for the opposite. Default is 9 kg/mm front and 6 kg/mm rear (a.k.a. 9/6); you can take either one up or down by 2 at no additional cost. Beyond that, you'll have to pay a little extra because they have to re-valve the shocks to match the spring rates.
Black Max,
Mine looks the same or a little worse. I haven't sprayed anything on my coilovers since my install last July and it is covered in oil and there is even a few oil drops on the driveway where I park. I emailed Jinsu and he responed quickly with the address of K-sport to send back for rebuild. This is going to be a royal pain in the *** because the car will most likely be down for a couple weeks (my guess) for this process to get finished.
