-After installation would I be able to lower and higher the car at anytime?

-What is a good "inch" drop for the front and back?

mmmm, I think thats it. LOL sorry, If anyone can help me out, I'd really appreciate it.
actually the guy that responded to you is wrong.

if you are looking for the "lowering springs" not the "coilovers" than no you cannot change the height. they are just lowering springs, and you would need spring compressors to change them out,

also youwould need to buy some new struts because the stock struts will not be able to handle that kind of drop.

for the installation, if you are going to get the full coilover set up the installation is very simple, take out the entire suspension assemply, and pop in the coilover easy as that.

also people, i am getting sick and tired of reading "i am too lazy to read 27 pages" or "i am too busy" I am getting sick and tired of seeing the same questions over and over again in this thread, take some time read the thread, you will learn a ton of information. The whole reason for this thread is so that we could have all the info on these coilovers in one place. not to keep asking the same questions over and over again. /rant

Zero preload
Half-turn from full soft, or full stiff

That info is repeated several times in the thread...

I guess I need to add a link to it in the first post.

About the collar on the rears, make sure that you are going counterclock wise, don't go by my arrows. I hope this helps......Damn the Max looks good
thanks man. yea thats what i thought. i just here is once and awhile. The ride is great! i sometimes forget im on coilovers...im going to pull off the wheels tomorrow and make sure everything is nice and tight.

one more question, on the front struts, does it matter what which struts goes on which side? Because the camber plates are different from each other, right?

Yes, it does matter. It is very noticeable. The two camber slots on each side should be running from the right to left. Not front to back. The inside strut bolt is off center a tad. Look out for that on the KSport.

MAKE SURE the camber plates are facing each other. You want them horizontal, not vertical (side way, not up & down) The pionts facing the engine.

as long as the camber plates face horizontal than you should be good. they can only go in one way if you have the camber bolts horizontal. as in when you move them they should go left and right, not up and down.

Wow that must of been an old post by enomik-1.

As he probably won't be in here to answer your question, i will. He is probably lowered about the same height as me which is not even close to being all the way.

this sucks azz....i tried and tried to loosen my rear coilovers bottom collar but that damn thing wont budge. I even tried to tap it with a mallet and a screw driver, but it doesnt come loose. i guess im gonna take it to a import tuner shop that specializes in all this stuff and see if they have any bright ideas.

Drop looks great Mr. Duck, just right. I'm not digging the mudflaps, though, mudflaps should always be body color IMO.

I just install my coilovers, i dun here ani major 1 click or clunk sound, but when i cruise above 40 mph, i start to here a countinuously clunk on the right side. am not sure what it is, can some one point out the problem so i can go fix it.

Another question is that, do you guys adjust yur height by taking out the whole coilover or yu guys just jack it up and adjust it with the two top perches, but is it that like preloading? My rear is too low, its cover almost my tires. Thanks for help guys, cuz i i dun kno anithing about coilovers, got it for a present.

Check to see if the dust shields behind your brake rotors have been bent such that they are making contact with the rotors. Also check to see if your brake pads are loose and able to slide around even slightly.

The best way to adjust height is to unbolt the coilovers and adjust the bottom collars. If you raise the car by adjusting the upper collars, you will be adding preload.

The noise issue is resolved by lubing the springs (and their perches) and the lock nut, and loosening and retightenting the top strut valve nut.

What's so hard about that?

Okay, so I got a little tired of guys complaining about dropping the car and ruining your front lip. Also a little tired of people just getting rid of wheel gap and calling their max's "Slammed". Fellas, these are two guys in BROOKLYN, NYC. You have to learn how to drive with a drop. Period. Are they the lowest Ksported out Max's?

Note: Guy in the orange shirt is not the owener of this car.

And you've seen this one before:

well here is the verdict on my coilovers. I #1 had a problem like all others with the clicking sounds. well i fixed that today. #2 my driver side rear coilovers collar was stuck so i couldnt adjust the height on the rear. And today i realized another damn problem, the right rear coilover is drenched in oil, so looks like i have a busted rear coilover. I believe its time for the rears to go in and get fixed. sux major azz.
