SAI is out of spec.
I had my car on the alignment machine yesterday. The steering wheel has been off center since replacing the left side cv axle (outer joint exploded with out warning) Everything came up green except SAI and included angle. SAI is 14.11 on the left and 20.28 on the right, there is some additional neg camber and caster on the right front. Camber is -.25 left and -.36 right, caster is 2.32 left and 2.52 right.
Is this an indication of a failing control arm bushing or ball joint??? only other cause would be a bent part, I think I would have noticed a hit hard enough to bend a suspension part.

I noticed the same thing on the alignment rack about a week ago...someone later mentioned something about the spindle possibly being bent....or bushings/joints....like you said.
but i have yet to look into it further....so i dunno.

Have you replaced control arms or had the knuckle off? My SAI is off .1-.2 and I was wondering if the bushing link pin could be off just a tad in the mounting holes. Do you notice any pull or wandering?

As far as I know neither the control arm or the knuckle have been off. I replaced the struts and springs a few years ago, every thing was ok at that time. I replaced the right upper strut mount last year, I just did a simple "toe and go" at that time. Car drives fine, I'm starting to wonder if my alignment machine was malfunctioning.
