I can't get the egr guide tube to start threading.



What do I do?

 

sparay some lube on there? My 2k manifold does not have that egr tube right there. Its just the plate with no hole in it.

I would soke the bolts in some degreaser or spray some lube. They could be dirty and the dirt is messing mup the threads. Have you tried using a wrench?

 

Maybe the tube isnt aligned correctly? Maybe thats why the threads arent lining up?

I don't know what resistors to put to get rid of CEL

 

I have every single piece of the EGR system off of my car except the solenoid and temp sensor, and I get no codes??

 

Where did you put hte temp sensor? And where is hte solenoid located? I need a quick fix. What do I cover the hole in teh IM with. Also I got the plate on and I stripped the nut on hte plate on the right side(firewall side).

I need to get this fixed today, other wise the stock is going on. So I need help ASAP.

 

Well the stock IM goes back on tomorrow. I will get a plate made to cover the hole up and install at a later time.

 

The solenoid is at the stock location, and the temp sensor is dangling somewhere.

 

Never mind Krismax gave me some ideas and now it is working
