DEK Swap Complete - Rpms keep bouncing between 1600 & 2400
Looks like everything went smooth and no CEL. But the only problem is that my idle is messed up and the screw on the IACV doesnt do much. I can screw it in all the way or out.. same sound. Car is idling @ 1600 when I start it but as it gets warmer rpms will bounce between 1600 and 2500.
Any thoughts?

Something I suggest to the guys who’ve bought the 00VI setups from me and I’ll pass on to anyone who is planning on doing this:
Before you start disconnecting wires and hoses, have a bunch of small tags with string/rubber bands/etc. to attach them to each and every wire and hose you remove. Label them sequentially (e.g., A, B, C, etc.), and then on a pad of paper list them along with what they were hooked up to. This ought to be a pretty foolproof checklist to make sure that you haven’t overlooked something as you hook things back up again. Although it may sound sort of “beneath” the mechanic-expertise of some of you guys, I think it’s reasonable to say that most of these sorts of problems guys have encountered in the wake of the 00VI installation have been the result of something that was overlooked. And sometimes a beer or two while we’re working has a way of clouding our memory about what went where. Although most of you aren’t going to be flying your cars at 30,000+ feet, there’s a reason why professional aircraft mechanics have detailed, step-by-step checklists for the procedures they perform.
Another one I’ll add to that list is the fuel pump fuse: if you pull that fuse and fire up the engine before you do anything else, that’ll bleed off most of the fuel pressure before you start opening up the fuel lines and avoid having fuel spray in your face. I forgot to reinstall that fuse, and had a hell of a time figuring out why my engine wouldn’t fire up when I was done with the installation. I’d wager that even the most experienced among us has had similar “doofuss” experiences (that many of you won’t admit to).
Merry Christmas, everyone.

IACV is mouted using the custom bracket from StephanMax. I am using a 5th gen throttle body and TPS so may be I need to check that?
What are the symptoms of TPS going bad compared to IACV going bad?

99% is the chance that you need to re-adjust the tps. we had the same problem on my buddy's 5th gen. we took apart a tb to clean it and after putting it back together, we didnt adjust the tps. the rpms were bouncing at around 1800. however before taking everything apart we marked the original position of the tps with respect to the tb. we put the tps to the original position and everything was back to normal. try resetting the tps (500 ohm at idle and 4000 ohm at wot)

Is there a certain procedure I have to follow to reset it?

if that doesn't work, you'll have to go to the dealer to reset the tps with a consult

Could be dirty tb/iacv.
Does it do it with the AC on?

I fixed my problem, it was one of my front coil packs. I replaced the front three and havent "bumped' in 2weeks

Interesting. So a coil was bad, but not bad enough to throw a cel?
I'm going to clean down the IACV and hope that solves the problem. It occurs once every few days.
If cleaning the IACV doesnt work, I'll look into coils.
