The ports on the heads are oval shaped on the VQ30. On the VQ35 they are circular. VQ35 heads on a 3.0 bottom end would lower your compression ratio down to like 8.9 or something like that.

the hose that goes from the pcv in the rear valve cover? it is connected to the inlet on the front of the im. the one that faces towards the passengers side.

I mean the one that is on the driver side of the front valve cover. Unless it's in a different spot on the Z VC?
