Also expecting someone to be 100% perfect all of the time is only going to set yourself up for disappointment. I dont care how good your are or who you are, a mistake will be made every now and again or a problem with a material will arise.

Many have Stephen Max's adapters as well as other parts he had made, and forutantely no one has has any troubles. Weather or not Stephen Max should send another spacer to him is not something I voiced my opinion on, not how Stpehen Max's chooses to handle this situation. My pain point was to point out that so far, this is the first instance out of many. It would lead people to believe that maybe just his particular one might have been a one time case.
No manufacture, not any individual can have a 0% margin of error, that is a little unrealistic. Idealy we would all love and want 0% error, but unfortunately sometimes parts are defective, Hence limited/lifetime warantees.

I totally agree. Out of the many years that he has been making parts for this website, this is the first occurence. Seems like an excellent record to me.

I used the adapters from Stephen max for my 3.5 swap and so far everything is running great. I have about 1000 miles on the 3.5. I have met Stephen Max personally and I would readily purchase other items/work from him. I don't think one should be quick to lash out and say he doesn't stand by his work.
1800 miles on my 3.5 swap with Stephen Max's adapters. No problems at all. This isnt the only product I buy from him. His customer service is great, he and he works fast. So j00 **** bad mouthing him based on nothing... dont hate cus he's more better than j00 
ok, 2000+ miles on my 3.5 swap with these adapters/ spacers. I just tore down the motor for my headgaskets' replacement, and guess what.............

Seriously, you guys have no reason to be concerned over the "screw" on these adapters. The screw is only there for alignment purposes. Once the cam bolt is torqued down, its the BOLT that brings together the cams with the adapters and sprockets. If the cam bolt is torqued down properly, there should be ZERO torsional force of the adapter's screw, therefore the likelyhood if it breaking is not so likely.
Im not saying you're a liar (to the original poster) so dont take it the wrong way. But from what I've seen first hand of these adapters having put them on my motor, and now looked at them after 2000 miles, they looks the same, there is no play of the screw (like i said, no force should be transmitted to them if the cam bolt is properly torqued), and I have no doubt they'll be just fine for the life of the motor.
