breaking up after 6speed swap

ok since the 6speed swap in my 95 maxima ,I get some misfire around 4300. Ok for the cps ring I cut one from a auto and line it up with the cps sesnor and welded it to the 6speed flywheel. Well the car will start right up with no problems and it drives fine. I have emanange ultimite. I had no poblems from the eu before the 6speed swap. But I was using a xp labtop and ver.2.0 since the swap I got a new lab top with vista im not sure how well its working with the eu. Im also using ver 2.13. everthing seems to be fine other than the ipw wont show the change in duration on the dat log it show input and out put to be the same . I have 555cc injectors.

Ok to the break up. If I go about 50-to 60% throttle and let it only get a few psi (3-4) it wont break up and go to redline. Now if I go more throttle than that it will break up and keep breaking up enough that it will go rich and you smell gas from the open down pipe. Now if I take a pipe loose and no boost goes in the motor will rev to reline with no problem n/a. Now I though it could be my maf but both of the z32 Iv tryed work fine on my 91 300zx. I thought it could be my cps sensor so I change it and it stopped breaking up at 3800 and change to 4300 where it is now! The cps ring is close to the sensor and right in the middle of the sensor.

Now TIlley had this problem after his cps ring came undone and flew off. Well when he put it back on he ahd problems with his car breaking up after 5000. But what could cause this or why would the ring read na but not boosted, and what do you think I could do to fix this problem?

maybe the added power causes minimal distortion in the ring as it spins? is there any way you could check the balance of the ring?

haha, from the title I thought you meant your girlfriend broke up with you because you were spending all your time with the max.......

If you have access to a scope checking the sine wave of the cps would be key........

It has to be boost related. Did you try what I saying. Right when the problem starts occuring, clutch in and free-rev the motor and see. Try and narrow down the problem a bit.

Ok update:
This problem is still happing but it seems to happen worse in the hot part of the day at night it does not seem to happin as bad and some time will even break through and rev on past 4300 at wot with out much cutting out.

On data logs that iv done the only thing I see odd at the time is the injector pulse starts to jump up and down. Like from 16ms to 0.5ms as before it happens its nice and steady climb.

I just drove the car and made like 5 pulls and it did not cut out just went steight to redline. I have not change anything and the car has never done this before but Im happy. ok went home for a littel while and went back out and after the car warmed got on it and it did it (broke up around 4500 and sometimes at 5000)It took about 4 or 5 try then it would rev right on through with no problem. Then it would do this every time i tryed now this is the first time every in a month that this is happened but some thing is still wrong for it to do it. I dont BOOST my car intill its fully warm though So I dont think its a cold warm issue
