Updates?

And also, does this mean that a VQ30 flexplate won't work then or...?

Man I'm surprised nobody has been pressing for actual dyno runfiles or pictures of printouts.

I really want to see what the curve looks like with the Tomei cams.

I highly doubt you will EVER see this happen - this is same poster who was meant to have Custom tuned ECU using piggyback but never delivered the good - and has now disappeared from forums and not posted in months

That throttlehappy46 guy is on 50 forums claiming he has 50 cars that are probably worth a combined $5million.... he always claiming he is building something, this or that, or has this, but never shows any proof of having anything... Smart guy and knows his stuff for the most part but never seen any real proof or facts backing up anything he does.

VQ30 flex plate will work with the Quartermaster Clutch setup. It required a redesigned flywheel and pressure plate finger arrangement.

http://freepdfhosting.com/680f54aee4.pdf is the current design All measurements are in millimetres Total thickness of the flywheel is 25mm, which allows for the friction plate closest to the flywheel to be worn down to nothing and still not cause the splines to rub on the crankshaft or flywheel bolts.

The car is now finished and videos of idle lope, driving along with a 1/4 mile run will be upload and posted.

How did you do in the 1/4 mile with the tomei's?

Any word on the CAD design for the vq35 design from quartermaster?

1/4 mile time was not great due to track surface BUT the MPH speaks for itself. Its in the video

Quartermaster and I should have the clutch setup sorted for production. I have been working with them as this clutch + flywheel design will also work with the QR25 and SR20 I have not told them that yet BUT I am sure they will figure it out once a few cheap ones have been sold to VQ/QR/SR owners

I put the 'Closed Course, do not try this at home' stuff at the start of the video and it desynchronised the whole video(audio ended before the video did etc)

Kevin is a memeber here with a spec-v VQ35DE swap but what he gains wont be the same because his motor is built H/C and ITB setup.

C9 cams you have to clearance the cylinder head around the tappets. the cam lobes will hit the head if you dont.
