I've been searching for like 30 minutes for the thread that shows the pictures of what is necessary to modify on the 3.5 TB to make it cable driven like the 3.0 TB is. I want to take a look at that before I go tearing the TB apart. Anyone have a link to that thread? I can't find it.

IIRC i dont ever remeber a thread that was created specifically on how to modify the tb. I remeber i search for ever and i couldnt find it either.

I am not running a tps but i can take a quick snap shot on how mine looks. But what specifically do you want to know about it??

Also ajcool2 thread has some photos of the 3.5 TB

I could swear some time back someone did a writeup with pictures on converting a 3.5 throttle body, however after doing a search here and on google, I couldn't find it. I take it you already tried the writeups on VQpower Neal? I used a Pathy TB, so I don't have any pics that would help.

Here is how i did mine. http://forums.maxima.org/6900102-post60.html

the metal piece you see holding the tps is a U gape metal, the bottom part screws onto the TB (u can see one of the screws on the first pic in the bottom). Also u need to take the cable/spring assembly from the 3.0 tb and put it on the 3.5. Once u start doing it, it will all make sense, its not hard at all, I think mine came out lil more solid than tavarish (thats wat he told me, shrug).

here's one I made that worked fairly well. I didn't like how flimsy most people's looked. The hardest part is making sure those holes are positioned just right for the tps to allow for adjustment. (not drilled yet in the pictures)

also just want to say it is not actually bolted to the throttle body in those pictures, just mocked up next to it.
