so Maxxxkid, to be clear on the whole weight balance thing... are you moving the wheels forward away from the firewall or just moving the engine back?

 

Why not keep things simple man, leave the 4th gen body as is, and finish the rwd/rb setup. You dont want the car looking like a space ship like alot of showcars, having parts from every single car in its make.

 

yea it was all moved back firewall was redone as soon as i get home I will go to the shop and get pics and put them up. should have been on my way home today but I have to wait another week or so.

 

I TOTALLY agree with this.

Keep the car simple with the body...a 4th gen max only looks nice stock with a lip kit (IMO) after you start getting into body kits and different mirrors and lights...it really looks like crap...

Its nice when you just have a really clean car so people can focus on what they SHOULD be looking at which is what you got under the hood...

well all I am going to do is change the front bumper with the front bumper on the sarona ns-005-kt kit and that is it, I need a kit to hide the set up especially with the fuel cell in the back. But other than that, there is nothing else.

 

Thats the only full size rear aftermarket bumper that i ACTUALLY kinda like...

It just sucks that it only comes in FiberGlass You getting the V1 or V2 rear bumper?

V1 only has single exhaust hole i believe...

If I had an RB max that ***** would be painted multiple colors of primer, rotted fenders/hood, etc. Basically look like the biggest POS, it would make blowing sideways past people that much more fun.

quite a bit was done, but IIRC the engine was running but badly and the shop butchered the wiring and did a half *** job and screwed him over, so hes doing it again with a new engine in a while

 

ok i am home now so I will go to the shop next week some time and get new pics and update

Why rear wheel drive if the rb26dett is awd? i would've gone awd since putting an rb26 to FR leaves oil puddles down the streets when racing doing quick pulls...

 

^ RB26 doesnt have to be AWD, on R32 GTR you just pull a fuse to get RWD, my cousins buddy has a BNR32 and rode RWD for a long time, he just blew the engine a year ago from doing a burnout though and rebuilt the engine. people here also have RB26 swapped RWD 4dr Skylines and 180sx as well

son youre out of the loop, the first engine was done bad and now hes starting again with a new engine. the wiring got screwed up on the first round by a garage
