It might work, but I had a much more expensive unit from a reputible company that worked like crap. I pulled it out and just used the amp's high-level inputs and it worked great. I would get a better one or use an amp w/ high-level inputs. Run a search of this forum for "adapter" and "bose" and you will see the one that you really need.

I definately would not recommend the Hi/Low adapter route. The output of the Bose amp is EQed for Bose speakers, besides I did the same in my car using PAC adapters I ordered from the local car stereo place which pulled out line level outputs from the head unit. The adapters will allow me to add/change amps and speakers while keeping the stock head unit. Look into it, it cost much more but it's the right way to do it.

eh.....I've seen people use line level converters like that one, that they bought at Wal-Mart and it worked fine. I did not buy mine there, but it sounds good. I have it connected right off the rear speakers. I had to take the amp down off the speaker to get to the wires. Don't plan on winning sound quality comps with it, but it sound sound fine. For the $10 bucks for a hi/low adapter...it's worth a try. If you don't like it, then go PAC.

Did you do this on a Bose system? How do you like it?

Yes....this is on a Bose system. I have a Kenwood PS200T amp with two 12' JL-W0s in a sealed box and it sounds pretty good.

PAC is a company that makes car audio accessories. Their website is www.go2pac.com

What you need is a part from them: AOEM-NIS2.
