I think this laser jammer is legit...!!

This may be old news to some of you car audio and electronics buffs, but anyway I was looking around at laser jammers and found the M-10 Twin Blinders. Here is a link: http://www.usblinder.com/us/m-10.htm
This thing supposedly works on even the newest laser speed measurement devices employed by the cops. They even claim that when used, the police never know that you were using the jammer, as long as you are smart and slow down then turn the jammer off so they can get an accurate reading. Check it out and let me know what you all think. Seems like a good investment....its either that or a Valentine 1 for me.

Wonder how much it runs.

Plus most people will tell you the best block to laser is the special plate covers for your front plate. Most lidar guns cant really pick up the speed from the headlight since it refracts the light all over the place.

I myself dont even have a front plate.

Thanks for mentioning this. My K40 detector died and I got a LIDAR hit a few months ago. According to Radartest.com the TwinBlinders only worked with the license plate was targeted. The Laser Echo on the other hand worked better...

I think it ran around $300. On their website they said that they tried a few different scenarios and during none of these tries were the volunteer cops able to get an accurate reading. However I dont think they tried doing it from behind. I too live in a state that doesnt require front license plates, but still....cops have to shoot laser a lot at oncoming cars anyway so Im sure they usually get an accurate reading from the front of the vehicle regardless of plates or not. I remember seeing another system that had sensors mounted in a frame for your rear license plate as well.

But heres the thing we are all missing, he can still hit you from the rear. Unless I get two of these and it costs me over $800.

5th gen mufflers automatically cancel out LIDAR from the rear. In addition to adding lots of HP

Hows that muffler doing for you, now I remember who I sold it to.

Does it really add power? I thought a straight through design like a greddy would add more.

The license plate covers can help to some degree, but if the police cannot get a reading right away from your license plates, I have heard they will target your headlights.

The reflectors in your headlights are supposed to be great at reflecting the laser back at the measuring device.

If you're going to go with the plate covers, make sure that you get the plate covers that are designed for this purpose. There are also plate covers designed to obscure the plates from an angle so police using photo enforcement cannot get a clear picture of your plates.

Hope this helps,

You're probably correct bull****. I tested the Phantom I years ago in my own scientific way. Drove back & forth past those radar display signs, the ones saying "your speed is...". No change. Then I opened one up. Bunch of reflective mirrored foil inside the casing. And a circuit board the size of a dime that lit the LED power light.
