I've used this radar detector for almost a year. It only recently dawned on me that it might not be working properly (I only use it on extended highway drives). I drove by one of those "your speed is" portable radar trailers, and I got no reading on the GPSRD.


Does anyone who owns this model get normal readings on the road, or are they so selective (as I've read) that it gives the impression it's not reading ANY radar?

Since I bought it "used" on ebay, I don't have the luxury of sending it to Uniden under warranty, and they don't seem to be making it anymore.
