You will know where to plug the kit into. On the back of the Head Unit, you'll see a set of plugs at the top. You will need to remove those (I found it easiest to remove them by prying them out from the bottom of the plugs) Once you do that, you plug the kit into the back of the HU, and the plugs you removed into the kit (If I remember correctly). It is real straightforward. The kit has four RCA leads coming off of it along with a remote wire. You can route these anywhere you wish. I would recommend running them out the right side of the console and running your RCAs down the right side of the car (especially if you ran your power wire down the left side of the car).

I think the hardest part was getting the vents out. It WILL take force. Just be sure to wrap whatever tools you use with cloth. I found it easier to remove the vent assembly by wedging it out from the sides.

You only need to use one pair of RCA leads to hook up your amp. If your goal is a sub amp, you need to use the pair that are labeled "rear."

As far as which plugs go where, I can't remember exactly what everything looks like, but it's basically a matter of putting the plugs where they'll fit. Just remember the kit goes in between the Head Unit, and the wiring harness that originally plugged into the back of the HU.
