Trunk Floor Board
Well, The crappy flexible POS that came with the car is all bend and concaves because of my subs. I was thinking of doing a hard floor in the trunk. I was just wondering what you guys had replaced it with. Im looking for something "light" yet strong.
At first I was gonna do some ply wood, then I rememberd how heavy that **** is. What about peg board or something like that?
All opinions welcome. Thanks.

1/2" plywood will do the trick, but since you're installing subs, get the MDF. But if you are just needing something to make a flat floor over the spare tire, 1/2" plywood and a jig saw will do the trick

medium density fiberboard. A composite of glue and basically sawdust. When you cut and/or rout the stuff, the dust goes EVERYWHERE. Cut it outside.
It does not hold screws as good as plywood, but most sub boxes are not under as much stress as furniture, so when bos building use lots of glue and pre-drill and countersink your holes before screwing. This will keep the edges from splitting and the entry point of the screw from 'bulging'.
MDF does absord water easily but I have had great luck using WATCO penetrating oil to protect surfaces from water damage. Available at most woodworking stores and goes on easy and dries fast.
MDF is heavy stuff, but there is a lightweight version available. Check with your local lumber yard. Some Home Depot stores carry the light stuff, but not many.

Mine fit in great. Especially after I cut it in half and put a hinge on it so that I can easily get to the spair. Remeber that the trunk is very uneven. Also cut larger so that you can trim down if needed. Another hint. I used the carpet mat to help. I was able to trace it and start trimming from there.
