help with 2k2 non-bose

help with 2k2 non-bose

i have a 2k2 non-bose and i might be purchasing a pioneer h/u from a friend real cheap. if i do what exactly do i need to install it? i know i need a dash kit. any recommendations on which kit looks, fits best? and what kind of adapter will i need to make sure all of my steering wheel functions still work. thanx in advance.

Dash kits: None are a perfect match. The Metra kit is black. The Scoshe kit is gray, but it doesn't match the other gray pieces. You can get the 2000-2001 GXE trim kit from Nissan, but it's about $75-100.

Parts needed for install: Nissan radio adapter kit (Best Buy, etc), Nissan antenna adapter kit (Best Buy, etc).

Steering wheel: Check the audio forum FAQ for more info, but for quick reference, you'll need the PAC SWI-X.

thanks. why does it have to be such a ***** to install a radio?? the parts needed plus labor exceed the price of the h/u.
