Just wondering what kind of a system you guys got that makes your rear view mirror fall because mine only falls everynow and then and my ***** plenty loud. The rear view mirror in the max is one of the best i've yet to see when it comes to staying planted in bass cars.

dunno about other gens, but my 3rd gen's rear view mirror is mounted to the roof instead of the windshield. no falling-off problems here.

oh, my fault. described it wrong. mine is attached to the roof too. What i meant was it tilting down real bad making you have to re-adjust it.

how much trunk flex do you have because where the word M A X I M A is on my trunk moves in-out up-down like crazy and it sounds horrible.

I read the FAQ about the rear view mirror, but it didnt work for me, for my bass still makes my mirror go down, making me re-adjust alot. So what could I do, also, where did you get that expandabel foam? Price? Thanks

foam is at home depot in the insulation section

as for the mirror, if you look behind there is a screw. tighten it.

i also took off those 2 lights above the mirror and stuffed insulation all around there to lessen the vibration around the pole leading to the mirror

Make sure to tape stuff off in the trunk though when using the foam, as it can cause bad problems like making your trunk button not work, or even causing the turn lock to not work as well, lol. Trust me on this one.

My mirror doesnt move at all with my IDMAX pounding away. I guess its nice and tight in there cause trust me, this sub hits LOUD!

If you take out the rubber pole thing between the mirror and the windsheild and turn it upside down and turn it a little it stops the mirror from falling as much. I dont know if this will work in all 4th gens but it worked for me.

We installed an Orion HCCA 15 ported to 33hz in this car
http://www.cardomain.com/id/phatman5050
and I don't care what we tried, mirror points at shoes after about 10 seconds of music playing. No trunk rattles though. This guy actually broke his mirror (yes, broke it in half where it connects to the actual mirror).

I have one 12" L7 in a ported box being fed 1000 Watts from an Infinity Beta Digital Amplifier. Mirror moves like crazy.

EHHHHHHHHHHHHHH? you can tighten those??? i didn't see any screw heads or anything like that on my fifth gen mirror, they are just a series of ball and socket joints.
