TV in whip
thinking about putting a tv screen in the car... i was thinking about just putting a screen into the dash and then adding a dvd player later. meanwhile playing super nintendo
but the question is do you have to buy a special reciever for just a screen. and does anyone have just a screen and reccomends it or is against it. I was thinking about getting a flip out TV with dvd built in already but theyre like 1200 for a ****ty one.... little help please.

You don't need a special receiver to add a TV. However, I suggest getting a head unit,if you don't already, that has aux inputs or can get aux inputs with an adapter. Pioneer I know has adapters(RGB10,RGB20)you can use,if the head unit has cd changer controls. If the head unit doesn't have aux inputs(hopefully RCA's), then you need to get an FM modulator. FM modulator sound quality isn't as good but still enables for an audio signal to go through your head unit. Hope this helps.
