Amp Recommendations

As my stereo is a couple years old and seems to be outdated as far as subs go, I am thinking of upgrading. Currently I have a D series Soloberic being powered by a PPI PC2400 (Bridged at 400W).

While I am still debating on which sub I want, I am thinking of a 12L7 SoloBeric or, if money permits, a JL 12W7. I know that my current amp won't really provide enough power for either. As I haven't really been into researching car audio lately, I am not really sure who make good quality amps. I love my PPI but I have heard they have gone downhill in recent years. I would like something of similar quality though. Any recommendations would great. Thanks in advance.

Concept audio has really hardkore amps for the prices they sell for. They are hard to find online, but talk to me if you are interested. An 800w can go for $320 sometimes..

can't go wrong with JL Audio 500/1 (or 1000/1)
