I got my mp3 player installed into my new max. Opinions on the look of stock deck and aftermarket deck together?

HM If you bought that expensive stereo my opinion is to take out original bose install new stereo and if you have anough money buy a digital equlizer to fill in the space and you have your self double din.and you have space where to put money , change and sigarets.

 

Well first off I don't have the bose system in my car. Also my new deck doesn't play cds, tapes or have the radio, its just does mp3s. The deck already has a pretty serious digital equalizer built into it so I see no reason to get a seperate one. I don't smoke especially not in my max and don't like change cluttering up my car so that space was never used (in the whole week I had it) befroe I got the deck put in.

I feel that my setup is perfect. Thanks for the suggestions though. Any more would also be appreciated.

the deck was $300 but its hard to get one now for under $500. Just look on ebay cause they arn't made anymore but the people that made them are always making new features and games and visuals that you can download onto it. I put my deck in the top half of the double din opening and I have the pocket with the folding door just below that with my radar detector's display in that pocket so i can conceal it, and I have a regular open pocket in the bottom location with the display for my alarm system hidden in there. There are lots of options. If the face of the is removable, then there is no reason to change it. Also for security, the average thief will see the factory radio, and move to the next car.

 

Good point, if someone stole my deck I would hunt them down and put them in a coma with a bat. I have close to 5,000 songs on it that aren't backed up and most of it is underground hiphop that is hard to find.
