95 GLS Bose stereo, lights turn off... why?

Anyone else have a problem with their Bose stereo lights turning off? I've noticed that in the 3rd generation there is a problem with the clock turning off... etc... Does this have any relation? Such as a faulty capacitor? Anyone had a problem like this or know of a guide that I could look at (or even a diagram?)
