Car Audio Question

I dont know much about car audio. Are there any head units that could be controlled with the factory steering wheel remote?

No, I don't think so but they do sell an adapter for like $50. Thats what I was told and I went ahead and bought an aftermarket headunit. Anyways, I have to say i love the clarity of the new unit but I do really miss the steering wheel controls. I am going to get the adapter soon, and I would suggest the same if you want an aftermarket headunit. Like is about sacrifices

I believe the adapter from soundgate works with Alpine.
