Trunk Rattle/Dynamat Question.
Trunk Rattle/Dynamat Question.
Recently installed some nice audiobahn subs, and of course the top of my trunk now rattles. So I opened the trunk and pulled the carpet off the top of the trunk door. After doing this, I noticed it wasn't a relatively flat surface. I was thinking about putting a regular dynamat trunk kit in there before, but after seeing this I am a little undecided. Since the trunk door isn't completely flat would it help to spray some of this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&category=1498
and then apply the normal dynamat sheet?
and then apply the normal dynamat sheet?

I stuck it up there withoput a problem
I fat matted the whole damn trunk including the lid, then matted the backside of the carpeting too, just for fun. It's dead solid and keeps much of the noise in as to roll more silent like. When you heat it up the stuff is malleable.
