Hey guys,
I finnaly ripped out the BOSE system and gave the car a full alpine setup. The professional install went fairly well, but with a few hiccups that make me not want to bring it back. Now, I have a single DIN Alpine 7995 HU, and as you know the bose was double DIN. They did not put a DIN Pocket/Sleeve under the radio as I would have hoped, But instead put a sheet of black plastic under the radio. Doesnt look too bad, but would rather have a factory look. The Plastic is not smooth like the dash trim, but is textured- and it really sticks out. Questions- How hard is it for me to add a pocket under the radio, and how much do they cost? I cant imagine the part being more than 5 bucks. Does anybody have any laying around? Who can help me out?

 

You will most likely need to install kit, including the pocket. Should be $19.99 at Circuit City.
