HU doesnt allow me to adjust the input level, player has no volume control... what can i connect between the audio out from player and HU input to control the volume level? A lil help please....

There are many ways to lower the output level of the MP3 player. But I doubt that is the problem. Sounds more like they were recorded with the gain set too high.

You could use one of the items below. Or you could make one yourself. You could also simply use a potentiometer but would want to make sure that your MP3 player could handle the impedance the pot would present. Check the autosound2000 tech briefs (www.autosound2000.com ) if you want to know how to construct your own. Or get a little booklet from radio shack.
