or you might want to take out the back seat and see if it would be possible to cut a small hole for your ps2 and mount it under the back seat....

well the power inverter is connected through my cigarette lighter, and of course the PS2 connects to that. I have 2 amps so I would put one amp under each seat, drivers side is power so I dont know how much less room there is than the passenger.

Just extend the power wire and run it up one of the seat frames. Don't use the chair bolt for ground. Use a dedicated ground for that big amp. Although alt noise would be tough to hear in a sub amp I wouldn't chance it.

The one that you create with your drill and sandpaper. After you secure it you can make it corrosion proof with some paint - touch up paint or nail pollish works well. I would use the same color for all the grounds for consistency and identification purposes.

I just walled off about 8"s off the back of my trunk and made the amp rack facing the back of the rear seats.. This way it is exposed when the seats are taken down.. Plus when you open the trunk and look behind the box all you see is the false wall. (carpeted to match the trunk)

Check it out at http://members.sounddomain.com/chitwista2

Wasnt that hard to do..

looks good, but I want to leave the ski hole of the backseat open, bass sounds better that way.

Really? I noticed no difference in the quality or level of bass when the ski hole was open or closed (after installing two 10" Alpines in a sealed enclosure). Guess it depends on your setup...

I don't think that hole really makes a difference...keep in mind that bass is felt more than heard...so check your ears boi!!!

Nah, a lot of setups you can definitely tell if the ski hole is open or closed.

Above my amp rack there is about a 6" space between the top and to bottom of the rear deck, stretching from driver to passenger side.. With the seats down this leaves a space about 50" x 6" above the amp rack for "sound" or air to make its way through.. I can notice a tremendous difference with the seats either up or down..

The 5th gen seat opening is huge in comparison with the 4th gen pass thru. When you put the seat down, you're essentially joining the cab to the trunk, so I can see why there is such a "tremendous" difference in your car. I wonder how a particular setup would sound significantly different in my 4th gen with the pass thru open or closed...cause there's zippo difference now. After all, isn't it just a big ol' inefficient bandpass setup? Shouldn't make it louder or sound better...I call BS until someone provides the physics to prove me wrong.

ive worked withg my system many times, and I have had the chance to listen to my system with the backseat and back metal plate off. The sound is incredible, sound cleaner and way louder, I wish nissan would have made fold down seats for our cars =/
