Where did you mount your crossovers

I got my Boston Acousitcs Pro 6.5's and am wondering where everybody put there crossovers. I am thinking of putting mine under my seat. I don't want to run them to the trunk. And I know space is limited under dash.

How do you like the speakers. I was thinking about the pocket section on the left side of the trunk like where SEmy2K2go has his. But that's alot of wiring to buy.

You cant really get around the wiring issue, your going to have to get a lot of wire one way or another
As for the Pro's I love em! They ask for about 400rms, but im only giving them about 75rms. Its still loud & clear as hell. When your setting the gains for the amp, play some jazz music as well. You'll be shocked at how loud they will get.

Everyone always says the Pro Series Boston's are power hungry..

Those people have only looked at the spec sheet.

My 5.5 Pro Series (rear doors) are powered by an amp that puts out 35W RMS, and my Boston Z6's in the front potentially receive about 130W RMS...

I can't really tell much of a difference in clarity, the fronts get alot louder, but both are crystal clear...

BTW, I mounted my crossovers under the seat...the Z6 crossovers are HUGE...

but I like the location HitManSE used...

Under my seat I would worry about moisture. HitmanSE's spot wouldn't work for me due to my box. Still thinking since I haven't ordered my wire yet.

Those don't look any bigger than mine, you could put them in the kickpanels.

What do you mean moisture? People have mounted amps under their front seats w/o any issues yet alone crossovers

i mounted 1 there, then one behind the dash by the radio. you cant even see the xover in the kick panel. no need to mount them in the trunk unless you really want to show them off.
