Its definately worth it from what i hear from someone in Cali that installed it in their Matrix.

I can't make up my mind, i only have enough money to get either this system or the Nismo camshafts. i'm tired of looking at the stock radio, and then i'm tired of not being able to keep up with my friends camaro ss.

Any one able to find this anywhere else for a little cheaper price??

Like you said, should fit perfect in a 2000 Max, with the double din. That would look sweet!

I have one installed, but it's in a 97 I30T. I figured you would want pics in a 5th Gen.

Where did you purchase yours?? You pay all money at once, or on a monthly basis?

I have a similar unit in my '99, just no DVD:

one drawback to that unit is that it won't allow you to connect multiple CD/DVD changers to it.....just FYI:

The both seem to be about the same, what does every one think. I dont know much about audio stuff (just the basics).

Which one would be better??

i dont know of anyone with that specific touch screen but i know people with other eclipse touch screens(single din)....and they are superb!

the 20 gig hard drive feature on the eclipse i mentioned is a great feature..it even allows u to record from the radio and if u happen to tune in during the middle of the song, it still records from the beginning. not sure about price..it's something that has to be purchased at a dealer, can't buy them online anywhere

What Mount-kit would you have to use to make it work? I have a 2002 maxima, with just the stock head unit...do they sell aftermarket DD mount kits?

I have the DDX7015, and it screws right into the factory holes of the factory bracket. No kit needed. But, that was for an 97 I30t.
