Dynamat Installation

Hi, I am new to all this so please bear with me. I have a 2001 Maxima Anniversery Edition with the Bose system and the sub really sucks and there is quite a bit of rattling whenever I listen to a song with some good bass. I was thinking of dynamatting the rtunk and was wondering how difficult this is. I am above average when it comes to handywork but am no pro. I am also going to install my 2 polk 10's in the trunk and was wondering if I should try it or not. I have installed a system before but it was in a 79 Mercedes so it was pretty easy to run wires and I wasn't worried about messing anything up. Question comes to should I pay extra to have a professional to install dynamat and amp or will I be able to do it myself and save money. Sorry if I wrote too much, this is my first post so let me know if I need to keep things short or what. Thanks folks...

dynomating is not hard. You have to take off all the trunk linings and use a heat gun to bond the dynomat. All trunk-lining parts should snap on and off.

Running power for the amps is not hard either. You can run the power on driver side. All parts snap on/off.

The only hard part is finding hole through the firewall. I drilled out an existing hole next to the steering column.

Good luck, Eugene

Oh yeah, I forgot to ask this but what do I need to connect the RCA jacks from the amp to the factory Bose unit. What would I connect the remote turn on and the RCA jacks from the amp to? Is there any way to connect these to the wires going to the existing Bose sub so I don't have to run those wires into the car? If I do need to connect to the factory stereo how do I know which wires to connect to?

you need an amp wiring kit

and a bose adapter ( not sure of the name) to connect the rca's to
