TO bridge or not to bridge...
hey guys...i have a rockford 501s amp and 2 JL W3v2 subs and right now they are bridged...should i just make them unbridrged and just use the 2 channels of the amp?

Greekmax2k1 try it and see if the decreased output is something that you are willing to live with. You may or may not be able to tell any difference as far as SQ goes. It is harder to hear low levels of distortion in the lower frequencies, than in the higher frequencies. Meaning that if you turn up the volume to a point where you can just hear it with your mids and highs, you probably will not hear the same level of distortion with the subs. Give it a shot & if you do not like it you can just put it back the way you had it for more output.
