Can you recommend a subwoofer enclosure

I am looking to add a subwoofer to my aftermarket stereo system in my 97 maxima. Can anyone recomend a subwoofer enclosure (box)? Also where did you mount it?

JL audio makes a box that when installed in your trunk it looks like it is factory. I think it holds a 10" woofer. www.jlaudio.com

No, just build one yourself. With a small amount of tools, saw, drill, clamps and some misc other stuff (glue etc) you can build one.

Look at mine:

Some of you are skeptic about this setup not sounding good, but the pressure in my cabin is UNREAL. I am almost deaf right now because some buddies of mine and myself were messing around with our systems tonight out in the school parking lot. They put a bass test CD in mine and we all sat in the car, and we almost had blood coming out of our ears.

Only thing is, make sure you get QUALITY sub(s). I need to get rid of my Kenwoods.

Good luck.

Are you asking what kind of enclosure (sealed, ported, bandpass) or specific brands?

It looks good, but I could not find it for sale online. Plus it would probably cost a pretty penny.

I think a 10 inch would be fine. Amp for about $200, speaker for about $100

Well I am looking for a specific enclosure, name brand, I don't want to fabricate one.

Looks like pre made ones run about only $30 for a 10 inch, which is cheap enough. I am wondering where to actually mount one. I don't want to drill holes into the wheel well.

Q-Logic makes some decent boxes, and lots of retail store chains like Best Buy and Circuit city carries them.
