Might be changing setup...need new amp.

Can anyone think of a amp that is small enough to fit under the front seat of a 5th. Gen max, put out around 1500W into either .5 or 2 Ohms, and run cool enough that it won't fry? All I can think of is MMATS D14002 or D1400.5.

i have never used an rf amp but if its under the seat shouldnt there be adequate cooling anyway? especially if you turn on the floor vents.

Depends on if your running the heater or not.

this is true. i just never use that here in fl. well obviously running at 2 ohms will help the amp run cooler. did your old amp have overheating problems?

Nope. I'm running a MMATS D200HC and that thing never even got warm. Even after it set my Brahma on fire!

Why would you put it under the seat. That's just money that's spent on wiring.

I have a Rockford 700S if that's what you're lookin for. It should fit underneath your seat

More room in the trunk. What else goes under the front seat?

you could mount it behind the rear seats and shouldnt really take up any space.

Those Treo amps look sick! I have no idea how to get any more info on them plus they are a bit more than I was looking to spend. Kinda the same story for the Zapco. Although, I would be really tempted if I could find a place to put the Zap C2K9.0. That amp would be perfect, just too big and too expensive. Good suggestions though
