If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

I have an occasional crackling noise coming from the front tweeter and once from the back coaxials. At first I thought it was a blown speaker but I never turn up my system that loud (or maybe I should say to the max) and when it's not crackling it sounds great. I checked all the connections and everything is tight. Could it be a bad wire or the amp not putting out constant voltage? I have tried several different set-ups when turning on and off the equipment and I can't make it happen it seems totally random.

I've experienced something similar before. Try verifying that the tweeter's contacts, or speaker wire, is not shorting out. that is my only suggestion...sorry

Thanks for your input. Yeah, I'm thinking that it has to be the wire because the speaker sounds fine when there is power.

Anyone else?
