Kicker L7's vs Solo X

I've seen a few people running the L7's in their cars but haven't heard too much about the SoloX. Is it worth the $$$ to invest or are the L7's more than enough? I've never gotton to hear for myself the quality or bass output either speaker produces but as a long time Kicker fan ( I always just had comps) I'm wanting to try either one of these out. Anyone with either model have any input??? Also I was thinking about the dual 2 ohm dvc with the kicker 1200 mono amp, is this a good combo? A friend was suggesting the 4 ohm dvc's but it seems like you lose a lot of wattage even if you bridge it down.

The L7's and the solo x's share some technology. Specifics can be found on thier web site. www.kicker.com I have also been very interested in getting some feedback on thier performance. It would have to out perform two of the regular L7's for me to consider one. They are very expensive and require a huge amp and a huge box. These two issues keep me from trying it.
