two possibilities: the CD changer might have a little switch in the back or just inside the sliding door that's set on either "O" or "N"; try switching it to the opposite setting. also, if the HU has a little "reset" button (really small, you'd need a uniball pen or small nail to push it) on it, try that too.

my best guesses...i got a Kenwood also; good luck.

oh yeah, make sure the changer isn't installed at a weird angle; Kenwoods can only be mounted flat or 90 degrees, nothing in between.

thanx for the input. went out and checked everything again. after about 30mns freezing my *** off checked the din connector to the hu, one of the pins were bent. straighten it out and bam the sucker works. now all i gotta do is find out how to isolate the changer so the sub doesnt vibrate it so much.

yup, took a small flat screwdriver to straighten it out and bam it worked. but i might just ditch the shiet since i can even use it at moderate volume levels. everytime the bass hits it stalls. to hell with the kenwood, gonna go look for a pioneer hu.

Sorry Chrissy your wrong

I have a Kenwood custom mounted in my glovebox. It prolly sits at a 50 deg angle and works great.
